Poetry by Scott-Isaac Flewwelling

.....Skook has just completed his Language Arts unit on poetry and I thought I would share the ones he is proudest of....

About the Author

My name is Scott-Isaac,
I am in grade five.
My hobby is stunts,
I hope I survive.
I go to St. Marys,
My birthdays in June.
My dream is to teach,
and sleep until noon.
My ideas for writing,
are hilarious too.
Some contain my pet dog,
my best friends or Poo.

The Nerd

He sat on a chair in the computer room
His glasses surrounded by tape
He had just logged on to his favorite RPG
he messaged his friend w00t lol n00b then
giggled profusely

Then a bully walked by and teased him
about the usual

His comeback was the same as always

Which resulted in a "bully's special"

Screams of pain were mistaken for a
pack of wild dogs.

PLATINUM

Platinum is a metal more rare than gold
Platinum is the hair of someone quite old
Platinum is the over cast that covers the sky
Platinum is a level of respect I wish I were 'sigh'
Platinum is the shine on the water ever so bright
Platinum is the tip of my pencil with which I write
Platinum is a color that is sweet but cold
Platinum is my favorite color, so cool and bold.

Haiku for Jesse

Jesse is my friend
He totaly owns newbies
Runescape is his game

We hang out alot
He's such a wicked best friend
We met in grade three

We sled together
He pulls me on a slider
We love to hit jumps

Lymrick

There once was a kid named Scott,
A haircut was what he had bought.
The barber couldn't cut hair,
But she really didn't care,
With a bad haircut away he must trot.

TOOT TOOT

An elk sat on a railroad track,
Right beside the mill.
The five-fifteen came rushing by,
Toot toot, Road Kill

A tomato sat on a railroad track,
Always looking up.
The five-fifteen came rushing by,
Toot toot, Ketchup

A rock sat on a railroad track,
Determined to take the pain.
The five-fifteen came rushing by,
Toot toot, Derailed Train.

Social Distortion

I like a song called "Prison Bound"
When it makes me dance, I prance around.
Its wicked because its so profound.

MOTHER

MY MOM IS ROXANN
SHE IS THE BEST MOM EVER
I LOVE HER SO MUCH

SHE IS AMAZING
I WILL LOVE HER FOREVER
HOW DID SHE RAISE ME?

WE ARE SO ALIKE
