Just Thought I would Share:

Cousin Johnathan Standring is being married in August. Mom and Dad are not able to attend as we will be Out West with the family. We bought them a gift while in Newfoundland and will extend our love from the whole family to him. Have not heard from Auntie Beebee for a while, summer is often a very busy time. I was hoping that Dad and I would get to Fredericton before we left for Alberta. However we only have a week inbetween coming home from Newfoundland and leaving for Alberta....

I am very excited to see you all...especially all our babies. Aunika is feeling better, the surgery had improved her health....Naomi is "fat and happy", Hadassah is progressing in leaps and bounds...dear little seetheart!! Caleb had a wonderful trip East, and Scott-Isaac is staying busy with sleep-overs and friends. Piercen is growing, on his last appointment he weighted 6lb and 10 oz....We all are waiting for his grand entery into this world!

Nana has the "Grandkids Day" t-shirts, Pins and medals being produced...Looking for a big fun filled day!!! Hurray!!!

See you all in 5 DAYS....but hey, who's counting????????????????

Pictures recieved today from the Ways

Baby Aunika is sporting a brand new smile
She has under surgery to save her teeth.
Due to her nutrapheia, she lost the enamel
off all her teeth but six.

Nana and Papa Standring want to send
her special love and prayers....xoxoxoxox
We hear she is recovering well!!

We hear that you LIKE your new shiny teeth Nonni.
Since your smile has always been extrodinary,
I must say that a little more sparkle will be beautiful, indeed!!

Lighthouse Poem!!

Oh my dear daughter, that was a wonderful piece. Daddy never told me about it, but here I am unable to sleep and took a look at the blog, what a delight.....

You are such a true artist, your talents are in your drawings and your writings...you are indeed my daughter, and I think the only reason God did not give you to me when you were created, was because Joseph would need you, more then I!!! (and of course Karen and Brian needed something special too! hehe) I cannot have EVERYTHING!!

I can not wait to hold baby Piercen, my arms are longing and my heart is aching to meet him.

I love you dear, see you very very soon.

Our Darling Corinna, thankyou for your lovely poetic creation. In poetic type 'our Christ' is THE Lighthouse that lights everyones way through life. Many lose sight of this, but sight (spiritual sight) returns at the appointed time. It's written in the stars above. Your poem captures this. May my God, our God, keep you. Lovingly, Daddy.

WOW, CORINNA YOUR LIGHTHOUSE POEM IS SO BEAUTIFUL!!
Hi Mom, your pictues inspired me today....

The Keepers of the Lighthouse

The grain elevators watch over the prairies
As far as the eye can see
The lighthouse stands tall on rugged hill and gentle bluff
Keeping an eye on the sea

Egypt has pyramids, Greece has their ruins
It is fortunate to witness all these
They remind us of where we have come from
Be it deserts, or grasslands, or seas

But none captures my heart like the lighthouse
As lonely as they may seem
Blinking light through dark and stormy billows
And hope and promise through many an awaiting wives' dream

Where would we be if it were not for them?
Only dreams asleep in the cold waters' depths?
Our existences barely concieved yet
Aside from the aspirations of those waiting who've wept

These lighthouses not only hold timeless beauty
We must remember well
That these beacons of light that shine through the night
Guided our great grandfathers home on the swells

They've existed through time with preservation
Variable, yet constant as waves
It is up to us now to protect them
From fates of watery graves

We, the Keepers of the Great Canadian Lighthouse!

TO JUDITH ANN. BEEN ENJOYING YOUR PITCURES, LOOKS LIKE QUITE A TRIP! WAS WONDERING IF YOU WERE STOPPING ON YOUR WAY HOME. THE HAT AND SOCKS ARE READY FOR PICK-UP OR WILL I JUST SEE YOU ON AUG. 3RD.??
Hi Standring fam all inclusive. WOW, how great it is to be THE Patriarch of such a great extended family. And the Standfam gets added to on a regular basis. Peeenut and Vickie are welcome additions. As suggested / requested by Corrinna, below, Moms and Dads schedule is as follows:
  1. depart Bishops Falls at 6:00am, July 23 to catch the boat at Porte aux Basque at 2:30pm
  2. arrive at North Sydney at 8:00pm and start to drive with the plan to find a Motel for the night ... within the hour
  3. sleep in as long as we like, July 24th, then head for Miramichi ... 7 - 8 hour drive and arrive at home by ... say ... 6:00pm
  4. THEN, we depart for Moncton August 3 and stay overnight at ... guess who
  5. depart for GP August 4 at 6:30am ... for arrival at GP, in mid-afternoon, there to be picked up by TBA
  6. Dad returns to Miramichi, September 14 ... Mom, a month or so later. This will give us time to get familiar with Nommie and then Piersen (Peeenut) and Vickie, our new daughter. In algebraic equation this will make; (1d+1m)+(1r+1m+1s+1h)+(1d+1v)+(1j+1c+1c+1p)+(1i+1b)+(1h+1k+1a+1n)= 18

See ya'll real soon my dears. Lovingly, yer Dad, Daddy, Daddyo, Pop, Pops, Pawpa, Papa.

Thanks Mama

These are not the best photos, but they do give an ok rep of my pics in the entry way..... Scott helped me hang them this week..... Thanks Mom. Can't wait for you to do an updated collage of my sonshine for me!!!!!
