Family Feast: The Roast Beast...Lots of Love!

Sounds wonderful Roxann, and thanks a millionHeidi will be glad it is a family effort this year, as I remember last year she had a really great Xmas family dinner for everyone.
Roxi, will keep you posted for dates we can get our tickets.  The date will determine if I can do the turkey or not...but if not someone else can take the turkey and Papa and I will  try to do another complimentary meat.

I will have a gingerbread candy cottage for each grandchild , two years old and up, to decorate and frost....candies...gummies... marshmallow...other surprisingly good stuff ....Big boys included...to which they should like as it is fully editable and is theirs to take home and eat...eat and eat.The preschoolers will have a BLAST..for sure. Now if the parents of the new babies would like to have baby gingerbread houses for them....we will make some mini ones, and the parents can decorate it for them too....again let Roxann know, very early on.

Each grandchild will have a stocking from Nan & Papa also full of presents and treats.   After these stockings go home, Nana will ask the children to take care of them and give them back to Nana as she wants to keep them for next Christmas...because they are very special and should be FILL UP again and again..(smile)...if we know that other extended family members have little ones or even big ones who still need treats, do let Roxi know a month in advance, as we will make sure they too have a special hand-out.

Except for the new babies(2012), all the grand kids will have their special Christmas presents from Nan and Papa at their homes to open Xmas day. The New babies will be presented with something very unique at the family dinner. (except Jacob, who will get his on the Miramichi since he is not here)

I am also making something very delicious for all the Aunts and Uncles...and again, please let Roxi know who in your extended family is coming...as these treats will be individually wrapped...tagged and handed out...so we need names and numbers by November 25th. Please ask them soon if they would like to be a part of it....like Roxi said...you all have "others" here now...should be fun, the more the merrier!! All is welcomed.  Roxi will help them with "what to bring for food"!

I am also aware that some of you will have your husbands working...any of them that are just working in the day...can still come to our dinner feast when the shift is done, and if they are away, we will miss them, and have to save them some of our desserts and treats.

Looking forward to seeing the new West bound LaRonde's...new Waye bro....Vicky,s extended fam...and of course Scott...so ask, WHO is coming???....count heads!!!!...get the tally in to Roxann by November 25th!!  As we need time to prepare the treats and gifts.

Excited!!!????!!!!!      I am for sure!!!!    Imagine a community Hall, ours all day!!  Oh ya, dishes can be cooked and prepared at the hall in the earlier part of the day...pass that on to all extended members too!

Lovingly:

Nana & Papa

PS If all members come...extented families included....we will have 30 people all together...Let's make it happen!!!
