Our Daily Mexican Food: Yummy Yum

We are now all relaxed and unpacked and are exploring our way
around San Filipe....To get the feel of the place,
we have seemed out a few foodie places.

Photo 1...2...3... We enjoy a coconut drink, and
when we are done, it is cut up so that we can
eat the meat.

Here we are "Downtown" Looking around"

We saw the "Three Amigos" who will play you a tune for a penny

And for Auntie BeBe, we saw a "Brenda" sign
for "Seafood"...so we will have dinner there and think of her

We Walked the Marina where we bought fresh fish right off the boat.
While we were there, the army arrived to search the fishing boat...with guns in tow!

The fishermen pay no heed to them and life rolls by.  A young Mexican lad fetches
us 3 sole of fillet and has the Master Fisherman, clean and cut them for us.
I lightly breaded them....cooked and caramelized onion and garlic...added salt , pepper and lemon
juice for a lip smacking good supper....served with pan fried potatoes.

We went to a fruit stand earlier in the day and for 50 pasco
we bought ourselves a fruit salad...which we took
home, because we have a  HUGE bucket of yogurt
to eat.......GLUP!!

After our eatings and daily fill-ups of food, we went for a drive.

we could not really sit at the beach today because we had a wicket wind
which caused sand storms....just look at the sand drifts of the road....Just
like the snow drifts at home....HOW INTERESTING IS THAT!!!

And since today was about a "foodie kind of day" we also scouted
out the local markets....when Papa found this!

TRUCKHEAD FEET!!!

 WHAAAATTTT
All Yours for only 90 pascos

And this "Foodie" photo is for Achilles....Look Baby Boy...over here
the sell formula for "big Kids" too....
They think 3 year old drinking  BaaBaas is GREAT!!
