A Leap of Faith: Letting the Morning Lead Us Where It May.

On our visits to the beach, in a distance, we can see a mountain cliff.  I have wanted to do some snorkelling for the last two years.  Papa decided we should check out that cliff.  How? Where is it exactly?

After breakfast at the German Bakery, we hopped on a bus heading in the direction of the mountain.  We have absolutely no idea where the bus is really going, nor do we know where this cliff is.  Hanging out the back end of the bus, where on slip of Papa's foot, it would send him crashing into the pavement...and the car behind us would no doubt run over him, he is trying to see if he can see this distance t mountain cliff.

He is feeling very determined, I was going to write brave, but that did not really fit. Determind is what he is.  We are seeing a part of Hua Hin that our eyes have not yet seen.  The streets begin to narrow off.  We begins to climb, with more twist and turns. Papa feels we are getting somewhat closer to that cliff.  Before we can decide where we should disembark, the bus stops and everyone get out.  It is the end of the route.

With great uncertainty we step off the bus and look around somewhat bewildered.  Now the bus drive sees that we do not have a clue as to what or where we are, so he pipes up in broken English and says... "monkey. you go monkey."  Mark leans into his window and repeats the words..."You go monkey?"  I am thinking right away, he knows where there is monkeys....I want to photograph monkeys, so I kind of squeeze in beside Papa, pipe up and say...'Where, can you take us to the Monkeys."   The driver looks very eager, says..."Monkey"  He point to the back of the bus...indicationg that we get back in.  I get right in...if this man knows where monkeys are, I in!  Papa, who came looking for a mountain, now joins me, and another older couple from Germany, for some reason climb back on and say, "we follow you".  I am thinking, good gravy, do not follow us...we have no plan, and do not really know what we are doing.

We begin to climb upward, and around a very sharp corner, and we are now unto a dirt road.  As we round this corner...there is the cliff.  It is beautiful.
"There it is, say Papa, looking very pleased.  We just need to figure out how to get into it.  Then we veer off to the right, still climbing up a steep road, when out of no where, monkeys appear.  They are on the side of the road, in the middle of the road, sitting on big borders.....just everywhere.  I am trying to get some picture, but it is hard on theses TukTuk like buses.  I need not have worried, because at the top of that hill, was a temple of sorts where the monkeys are scarce and protected.  I was about to get my photo fill of monkeys, as well as monks temples and the gods of Thailand.

What started out as a determined desire to find us a mountain, we found a village of monkeys, fisherman, and the gods of Thailand.    The photos from todays adventure are stunning, and so worth seeing.  It is of Bus rides, Monkeys, Temples, and yes, our beloved mountain cliff, where tomorrow we shall swim with the fish of the sea! Then we decided not to take the bus back down the mountain, but rather walk.  That was amazing, because we came upon a fishing village.  We explored the sights, had lunch and took many incredible photos of the boats.

WHAT A DAY WE HAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!
